The 160-year-old Town Hall complex at Chandni Chowk in Delhi will be redeveloped as a Global Heritage Centre. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project was signed on 20 September 2026. The plan seeks to conserve the historic building in Old Delhi and give it a new cultural role, turning a colonial-era civic structure into a heritage destination for visitors.
