According to the Global Capital Flows Report 2025 released by Colliers, India stood fourth in the world for cross-border investment in land and development sites, underlining its rising weight in global real estate.
Real estate investment across Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets touched USD 71.9 billion in the first half of 2025. India attracted about USD 3 billion during H1 2025, of which foreign investors contributed roughly USD 1.6 billion (about 52%), while domestic investment also rose sharply. Residential and office projects were the main investment segments.
