Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated several infrastructure projects and laid foundation stones for new works.
- He laid the foundation for the first phase of the Guindy Eco Park, being developed by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare at ₹37.85 crore, with theme gardens, a children's play area, bird habitat islands, herbal gardens and viewing decks.
- He opened a 30-metre Super Tree Tower at Kalaignar Centenary Park, built for ₹11.84 crore.
- A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with MRF Limited for a tyre manufacturing plant in Sivaganga district with an investment of ₹5,300 crore.
