The first Airbus C-295 military transport aircraft made in India has been completed at the Tata-Airbus facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, and is now ready for flight testing. The Vadodara facility is a partnership between Tata and Airbus to produce the C-295 within the country. Completing the first domestically built aircraft marks a milestone for private-sector participation in military aircraft manufacturing and supports the Make in India drive in defence production.
