The BRICS Heads of Space Agencies (HOSA) Meeting 2026 was held in Bengaluru under India's chairmanship of BRICS.
The meeting focused on the use of remote sensing satellite systems for disaster management and for monitoring climate change. Such cooperation allows BRICS members to share satellite data and expertise, improving early warning, disaster response and environmental tracking across member countries.
