Bharti Airtel has introduced Priority Postpaid, the country's first 5G Network Slicing service aimed at ordinary consumers. Network slicing splits one physical 5G network into several virtual networks, or slices, each with its own dedicated resources for particular users or applications. This allows a telecom operator to guarantee better speed and reliability to selected subscribers even when the network is crowded, opening new service models in India's 5G market.
