The Union Agriculture Ministry launched Phase 1 of Bharat VISTAAR in Jaipur, Rajasthan, during the AI Summit 2026. It is a multilingual, AI-driven conversational advisory service that farmers can reach on helpline 155261 for instant guidance on soil testing, seeds, fertilisers, irrigation, credit and insurance. A Digital Farmer Identity Card will connect farmers to services such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and the Soil Health Card Scheme.
