The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog launched India's first State Innovation Mission (SIM) in Tripura. The SIM is part of AIM 2.0 and is designed to help States and Union Territories build strong innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems of their own. Tripura becomes the first State to adopt this model, which is expected to be extended to other States and UTs.
