The Andaman and Nicobar Islands hosted two underwater Guinness World Record events at Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) to promote eco-tourism. In the “Largest Flag Unfurled Underwater” event, divers spread out a 60 metre × 40 metre Indian national flag beneath the sea near Radha Nagar Beach. In the second event, “Tallest Human Stack Underwater”, divers formed a 10-metre-high human stack near the lighthouse area. The events were meant to showcase the islands’ marine attractions and boost sustainable tourism.
