Jharkhand is set to establish India's first Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Human-Elephant Conflict Research Centre. The facility will come up inside the Palamu Tiger Reserve in the State. By applying AI to the study of human-elephant conflict, the centre is expected to support research into one of the most pressing wildlife-management challenges faced by forest-fringe communities. For TNPSC aspirants, note the combination of 'first in India', the technology used (AI) and the location (Palamu Tiger Reserve, Jharkhand).
