Bihar displayed an AI-enabled remote e-voting system at the India AI Impact Summit. Built by C-DAC with the Bihar State Election Commission, the 'e-Voting SECBHR' Android app lets voters cast ballots remotely. Verification combines OTP, AI-based facial recognition and matching against the EPIC database, while security features include dual encryption, liveness detection, blockchain storage and VVPAT-like audit trails. First used in the 2025 urban local body polls, it may be considered for future Assembly elections.
