Chennai is hosting a national conference titled 'Emerging Trends, Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence in Veterinary Medicine: Challenges and Opportunities'. The event has been organised jointly by Madras Veterinary College and the Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine. Discussions centre on how artificial intelligence and modern technologies can be used in veterinary diagnosis, in the healthcare of animals and in precision farming. As the title suggests, participants are examining both the hurdles and the possibilities that these new tools bring to the veterinary field.
