Indian space-tech company Agnikul Cosmos has successfully test-fired a first-of-its-kind booster engine manufactured through 3D printing. The engine was produced using the company's Akasha300 3D printer. Additive manufacturing of this kind allows complex rocket engine parts to be built as a single piece, and the test marks another step forward in the use of 3D-printing technology by India's private space sector.
