The Viksit Bharat Buildathon (VBB) 2025 earned a Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Innovation Solution Competition”, after receiving 2,87,967 project entries from across the country. The Ministry of Education ran it through the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), together with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog and AICTE. Through Idea and Prototype tracks, it encourages school students towards creativity, scientific curiosity, entrepreneurship and problem-solving. Its four pillars are Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local and Samriddh Bharat. Guidelines for Teacher Education Institutions under ULLAS (Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society) – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram were also released at the event.
