Southern Railway will attach Tamil Nadu's first Vistadome coach to the Madurai–Guruvayur Express starting 22 October 2026. This is the first time a Vistadome coach is being introduced in Tamil Nadu. It will run on a trial basis, and the trial period is scheduled to last until 16 January 2027.
