Two international days are observed on 21 March:
- International Day of Forests: Highlights the importance of forests. The 2026 theme is ‘Forests and Economies’.
- International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination: Promotes equality and the end of racism. The 2026 theme is ‘Mobilizing Political Will: 60 Years of Commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination’.
Themes of important days are a regular feature in TNPSC Group examinations.
