The National Urban Conclave 2026 ended in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with suggestions to improve urban governance, planning and service delivery in line with Viksit Bharat 2047. These included empowering Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), sounder municipal finances, integrated planning and outcome-based services. New launches were the Used Water Marketplace under AMRUT 2.0, the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) Portal and the Municipal Finance Data Hub. Eighteen Street Food Hubs were opened under PM SVANidhi. JICA and CPHEEO signed an MoU on circular use of treated used water, and the CPWD Nirman and CPWDway platforms were launched for project monitoring and capacity building.
