The 13th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) was held in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines, which chairs ASEAN in 2026. Its theme was “Navigating Our Future, together.” The forum brings together 11 ASEAN members and 8 dialogue partners: India, the United States, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Set up in 2010, it held its first meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 12 October 2010 and works as a platform for regional and global security and defence cooperation. India stated that it remains committed to ASEAN centrality and to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific, as part of its Act East Policy. Ministers also adopted a joint statement on Youth, Peace and Security.
