"Prakriti 2026", an International Conference on Carbon Markets, was organised in New Delhi by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). Discussions centred on carbon markets, climate finance and cutting emissions in line with India's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). The Indian Carbon Market Portal and the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) were showcased. The conference sought to encourage transparency, international cooperation and low-carbon economic growth, backing India's climate commitments under the Paris Agreement.
