Notification No. 02/2025, issued 21 August 2025, for 3,665 posts: 2,833 Grade II Police Constables (AR and TSP), 180 Grade II Jail Warders, 631 Firemen and 21 ST shortfall vacancies.
- Online application: 22 August to 21 September 2025; corrections until 25 September 2025.
- Eligibility: SSLC pass with Tamil; age 18 to 26 (general) as on 1 July 2025.
- Written exam: 9 November 2025 (Tamil eligibility test 80 marks + main paper 70 marks).
- Provisional written result: 26 December 2025, with 18,689 candidates called for certificate verification and physical tests (reported for 22 January to 2 February 2026).
- Final merit out of 100: written 70 + PET 24 + special marks 6.
Next cycle: no Common Recruitment notification in 2026 as of 21 October 2026. TNUSRB's revised 2026-27 planner tentatively lists Common Recruitment for June 2027 and Band Police Constable for March 2027; dates will be added only when notified.
