- Vacancies: 170 (tentative) across 31 posts, including 79 Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts.
- Online applications: 7 September to 6 October 2026 (11:59 PM); correction window 10 to 12 October 2026. Applications are closed.
- Fee: One Time Registration Rs. 150 and exam fee Rs. 200, plus Rs. 200 for each additional subject paper, with exemptions for eligible categories.
- Exam date: not announced yet; the official portal says it will be announced later. The annual planner had a tentative date of 14 November 2026.
- Final ranking: Paper I Parts B and C, Paper II and the interview.
