Indian Railways completed the last high-speed trial of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train on the Kota-Nagda section, where it touched 180 km/h. Until now, Vande Bharat trains have been chair-car only. The sleeper version is designed for overnight long-distance travel. A successful final trial brings the indigenous sleeper train closer to passenger service.
