The Telangana government has constituted a Cabinet sub-committee, headed by Bhatti Vikramarka, to monitor and guide the Musi River Rejuvenation Project in 2026. The project seeks to clean and restore the Musi River and improve the environment in Hyderabad. It covers river cleaning, urban development and better living conditions, and the government has promised proper rehabilitation and resettlement for people living near the river.
