The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh was certified by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on 10 October 2026 under its 'Eat Right Place of Worship' initiative. This FSSAI initiative encourages religious institutions to keep food safe and hygienic while they prepare prasad and langar and hand it out to devotees.
