The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has used the Sudarshan Artificial Intelligence (AI) system to take down more than 1.2 lakh misleading posts by financial influencers on social media. Sudarshan is an AI-based decision-support system used in India's banking and financial sector. It applies machine learning and data analytics to large financial datasets to produce predictive insights. Banks use it for credit risk assessment, loan appraisal and early warning of stressed assets, and it also supports fraud detection, transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance.
