The Government of India has appointed renowned sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik as the Brand Ambassador for India Census 2027.
In this role, he is expected to help spread public awareness about the census and encourage every household to take part in it. Pattnaik, who hails from Odisha, is widely known for his large sand sculptures that carry social messages. Census 2027 is the country's next nationwide population count, and its accuracy depends on full and correct participation by citizens.
