India will host the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026, with Goa chosen as the venue. This will be the first time India hosts the tournament since 2016, when it was held in Siliguri, West Bengal. Goa has hosted a SAFF event once before, in 1999, during the men’s championship. The championship is organised by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) and features national women’s football teams from South Asian countries.
