The Union Cabinet cleared the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a ₹10,000 crore corpus to channel long-term domestic capital into startups and venture funds. It succeeds the 2016 Fund of Funds for Startups, under which ₹10,000 crore was committed to 145 Alternative Investment Funds that invested over ₹25,500 crore in more than 1,370 startups. FoF 2.0 will prioritise deep tech, innovative manufacturing, early-stage founders and priority sectors. DPIIT implements it and SIDBI manages it.
