Ponduru Khadi, a hand-woven cotton fabric from Ponduru village in Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh (locally 'Patnulu'), was granted the Geographical Indication tag; it is woven by hand using Hill, Punasa and red cotton, famously cleaned with the jawbone of the Valuga fish.
