The Government launched PM RAHAT (Road Accident Victim Hospitalization and Assured Treatment). Each road accident victim can receive cashless treatment worth up to ₹1.5 lakh for 7 days from the accident date. Victims or bystanders can call ERSS 112 to reach the closest designated hospital within the Golden Hour. The scheme links MoRTH's eDAR (Electronic Detailed Accident Report) platform with the National Health Authority's Transaction Management System 2.0.
