Operation Trishul has helped India bring back 274 fugitives from 36 countries since 2019, including 70 in 2025 and 45 by July 2026.
It tracks fugitives wanted for terrorism, organised crime, narco-terrorism, financial fraud, murder, sexual offences and human trafficking, using satellite imagery, surveillance inputs and digital footprints. The CBI, Intelligence Bureau, RAW, State police forces and Interpol coordinate under the operation.
