Odisha has launched India's first digital portal dedicated to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) incentives. Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Pravati Parida inaugurated it at the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2026. Event organisers and tourism operators can use it to apply online for financial incentives for MICE events, under the framework of the Odisha Tourism (Amendment) Policy, 2026. The Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradip region has been chosen for development as a MICE tourism hub. MICE tourism is a segment of business tourism covering corporate meetings, incentive trips, conferences and exhibitions.
