NITI Aayog has started Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, a three-month drive running from 28 January to 14 April 2026. It seeks full saturation of five key performance indicators in 112 Aspirational Districts and six indicators in 513 Aspirational Blocks. Target areas include child nutrition and health, working facilities at Anganwadi centres, separate toilets for girls in schools and livestock vaccination. Districts and blocks will draw up three-month action plans, track progress monthly and make field visits. The campaign follows Sampoornata Abhiyan 2024 and supports the Aspirational Districts Programme (2018) and Aspirational Blocks Programme (2023).
