Bharat Taxi is a government-backed ride-hailing application supported by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The platform offers zero-commission rides for cars, auto-rickshaws and two-wheelers, with fair pricing for passengers. Since drivers do not pay a commission on each trip, they can retain a larger share of their earnings. The cooperative model offers an alternative to private app-based aggregators. NCDC functions under the Union Ministry of Cooperation.
