The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has launched the PRISM-SG portal in New Delhi. PRISM-SG stands for Portal for Rail-Road Inspection and Stages Management – Steel Girders. The digital platform is meant to simplify and speed up the inspection and approval stages involved in bridge construction, particularly for steel girders used in rail-road projects. By moving these processes online, the ministry aims to reduce delays in clearing bridge works.
