The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) launched 'Land Stack', a first-of-its-kind national digital land governance initiative - an integrated GIS-based digital platform for land and property records - on a pilot basis in Chandigarh and Tamil Nadu, under the Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP). The MoRD also launched a 'Glossary of Revenue Terms' (GoRT) giving standard meanings of land revenue terms in vernacular languages, Hindi, English and Roman scripts, to improve transparency and accessibility.
