The Union Ministry of Culture has launched ‘VM Frames’, a National Filmmaking Competition to commemorate 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram. Participants can submit entries in the form of reels, AI-based films and short films. The competition seeks to promote patriotism and India’s cultural heritage among citizens by encouraging creative works inspired by the song. Vande Mataram was composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.
