The Ministry of Home Affairs released PRAHAAR, India's first national anti-terrorism policy. It identifies threats across water, land, air and cyberspace, including cross-border terrorism, global outfits such as Al-Qaeda and Islamic State, and misuse of drones and encrypted platforms. It covers protection of critical sectors like power, railways, aviation, ports, defence, space and atomic energy, and stresses legal action, de-radicalisation, cyber monitoring and Centre-State coordination.
