Save

Archer Kumkum Anil Mohod collected two gold medals at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, one in the women's team recurve and the other in the individual recurve. Her individual title made her the first Indian woman ever to win the individual recurve gold at the Asian Games. Another standout was shooter Neeru Dhanda, who won two gold medals and a silver; her gold in individual trap brought to an end India's 48-year wait for that title. Dhanda also partnered Kynan Chenai to win mixed team trap gold with a new Asian record. India finished fourth overall with 85 medals, including 24 gold.
