India Semiconductor Mission 2.0 – 2026 Update
In January 2026, the Government of India accelerated the implementation of the India Semiconductor Mission 2.0 to strengthen domestic chip manufacturing and reduce dependency on imports. The initiative focuses on establishing semiconductor fabrication units, promoting design innovation, and attracting global investments into the electronics sector.
