India Post has introduced ‘24 Speed Post’, a next-day delivery service for urgent consignments.
- The service has been launched by the Department of Posts.
- It aims to provide faster and more dependable dispatch of time-sensitive articles.
- The move strengthens India Post's position in the express delivery segment, offering customers a quicker option than regular Speed Post.
New public-service launches by Union departments are useful for the national affairs section of TNPSC examinations.
