The Indian Army took part in the fourth edition of Exercise Cyclone, a joint military exercise between the special forces of India and Egypt. This edition of the drill was hosted in Egypt. Exercise Cyclone is a bilateral exercise that allows special forces personnel of the two countries to train together, share tactics and improve their ability to operate jointly. It reflects the growing defence cooperation between India and Egypt.
