The fourth edition of IN-SLN DIVEX 2026, a bilateral diving exercise between the Indian Navy (IN) and the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN), was conducted in Colombo. Such exercises allow naval divers of both countries to practise joint underwater operations and share skills and procedures. The exercise reflects the close maritime cooperation between India and Sri Lanka, neighbours separated by the Palk Strait, and supports India's wider goal of security and growth for all in the Indian Ocean region. Remember the name format: IN stands for Indian Navy and SLN for Sri Lanka Navy.
