The Indian Air Force conducted the 'Kalari Leap' exercise across the Lakshadweep and Minicoy archipelago in the Arabian Sea. Exercises in the island territories test the Air Force's ability to deploy quickly and operate over long sea distances, which is important for safeguarding India's island territories and maritime interests in the region.
