Haryana has topped India in blood donation for the third year running. In 2025–26 it collected 5.89 lakh units of blood and held 8,189 donation camps. Verified e-RaktKosh data placed it first among States in blood donation per million population. The Government of India will honour Haryana on National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, October 1, at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi.
