The 'Green Nobel': Honoring Grassroots Climate Activism

 

The Goldman Environmental Foundation has awarded the 2026 Goldman Environmental Prize to an all-women cohort for the first time in its history. Often referred to as the “Green Nobel Prize,” this award honors community-level environmental activists from six different geographic regions.
