Akashvani has launched Swar Prerna Veethika, a permanent photo gallery, to celebrate its 90th anniversary and the approaching centenary of radio broadcasting in India in 2027. Akashvani has functioned as India's public service broadcaster since 1936. Over the decades it has given a platform to classical, folk, devotional and regional music, and the gallery showcases this legacy.
