Ethan Vaz and Harshavardhan G.B. have been recognised as India's newest chess Grandmasters (GM). They are the country's 96th and 97th Grandmasters respectively. Their elevation adds to India's fast-growing pool of top-ranked chess players and reflects the strong pipeline of young talent in the sport.
