Five new sites have been added to India's UNESCO Tentative List of World Heritage Sites, raising the total to 78. They are Bagh Cave Paintings, Group of Temples of the Chambal Valley, Udaigiri Caves, Ginnorgarh, and Sites of Satyagraha. The first four are in Madhya Pradesh. Udaigiri has 20 rock-cut caves with sculptures and inscriptions mainly from the Gupta period, while Bagh has nine rock-cut Buddhist caves on the Baghni River famed for murals. Sites of Satyagraha is a proposed India–South Africa transnational serial property with 9 components (7 in India, 2 in South Africa) tracing Gandhi's Satyagraha.
