NITI Aayog has launched the DPI@2047 roadmap, which places Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) at the centre of India’s journey to becoming a developed economy by 2047, the centenary of Independence. It targets a $30 trillion economy and a per capita income of $18,000. The plan has two phases: DPI 2.0 (2025–2035) to widen digital access, skills and services, and DPI 3.0 (2035–2047) to drive innovation-led growth. Building on the success of Aadhaar and UPI, it seeks to strengthen MSMEs, agriculture, education and healthcare through inclusive digital empowerment.
